Petr Cech snubs PSG to complete transfer from Chelsea to Arsenal

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has completed transfer from Chelsea to Arsenal on a 11 million pounds deal.

Petr Cech has put an end to the transfer saga by signing from City rivals Arsenal on a 11 million pounds transfer. With French champions PSG also interested to make the signing, Cech opted to stay in Premier League by signing for Arsenal. The arrival of Czech International means either of David Ospina or Wojciech Szczesny will leave the club in the summer. The colombian keeper has attracted interest from Fenerbache and could move to Turkey if Szczesny stays.

The signing of goalkeeper from Chelsea means Arsenal have adressed the fans in attempt to solve their defensive crisis as well. Arsenal struggled in the final third last season despite having four top quality center halves, the injuries forced Wenger to take the chance. Similarly in the goalkeeping department, both Wojciech Szczesny and David Ospina were ruled out because of injuries. Same problem was in the midfield where youth academy graduate Francis Coquelin played more than half part of the season despite being fifth choice at the start of the season.
