Tottenham Hotspur to complete transfer of Toby Alderweireld in few days

Belgian International defender Toby Alderweireld is set to joining Tottenham Hotspur after spending a season in Premier League with Southampton.

After spending a season in the English Premier League with Southampton, Toby Alderweireld is set to return to England with North London outfit Tottenham Hotspur. The Belgian International defender, who was on loan from Spanish side Atletico Madrid last season expressed his interest to continue playing in England and Spurs went forward with a transfer deal to sign the lanky defender. With his fellow national team members Jan Vertognhen, Nacer Chadli and Mousa Dembele playing in the club, he took advices to make a decision.

As per the reports from Daily Star, Toby has already told his friends about joining Tottenham in few days. Atletico were said to hold on to defender after selling Miranda to Inter but with Diego Godin and Gimenez making their spot tight, a big money move was hard to reject for Atletico.
