Manchester City eye Real Madrid midfielder Isco as Pellegrini prepares transfer raid in Spain

Spanish International and Real Madrid midfielder Isco is said to be wanted by Manuel Pellegrini in Manchester City.

Former employee of Pellegrini and Real Madrid’s midfielder Isco is closing in on reunion with his former boss as Manchester City are looking for a transfer bid to sign Isco from Real Madrid. Isco, who joined Madrid from Malaga couple of seasons ago has not found regular starting berth despite playing well. He is competing with likes of Modric, Kroos, Bale, Ronaldo, James and Jese for spot in midfield and even if he gets chance, he is being used as the second choice in most of the position.

Pellegrini and Isco worked together at Malaga and the youngster’s performance was so good that he earned a move to Madrid and Pellegrini joined City sooner thereafter. The move will mean David Silva and Isco playing together after James Milner signed for Liverpool. Milner, who finished his contract in Manchester opted not to sign an extension despite huge interest from City.
