Manchester United are aiming to land Petr Cech this summer as David De Gea looks set to sign for Real Madrid in a world record fee for a goalkeeper.

Manchester United preparing a transfer bid to sign Petr Cech as De Gea nears transfer to Real Madrid

When Juan Mata joined Manchester United from Chelsea, it had hardly been six months that the Spaniard was voted Chelsea’s Player of the Season. Mata fell out with Jose Mourinho and was kept in substitutes before leaving to sign for Manchester United in January. The similar could happen again as Petr Cech is being looked upon as the successor for David De Gea at Old Trafford.

With Real Madrid putting their eyes set on the Spanish goalkeeper, Manhcetser United may be forced to accept world record fee in order to sign his replacement. Petr Cech from Chelsea has come out as an option as he is kept out in the bench by Thibaut Courtois. Chelsea board also have made it clear that they will act as per Cech’s personal decision on whether to leave or not.

Arsenal and Paris Saint Germain are also said to be interested in signing the Czech International as both the teams looked defensively weak and adding up a world class goalkeeper in the form of Cech will provide them some relief.
