Barcelona have extended contract of Dani Alves as Louis Van Gaal is forced to look elsewhere for right back.
After Dani Alves signed a contract extension with FC Barcelona, Manchester United have been dealt a heavy blow in their pursuit of signing a right back for next season. After joining from Sevilla in the year 2008, Alves has already won 19 titles with the club racking up over 300 appearances for the catalan club. The news also came shortly after Aleix Vidal of Sevilla signed for FC Barcelona but will join only on January as the club is facing a transfer ban.
Manchester United on the other hand, are eyeing a move for Southampton right back Nathaniel Clyne fter failing to snap up the Brazilian International. The Saints right back joined from Crystal Palace and is open to move if the clubs agree fee. If not him, Seamus Coleman might be approached as the Evertonian has been consistent for two season now.
