Liverpool preparing transfer bid for Carlos Vela after Depay joins Manchester United

Liverpool are said to be watching Real Sociedad winger Carlos Vela and might make a transfer bid in upcoming summer transfer window.

Manchester United have confirmed transfer of dutch midfielder Memphis Depay subject to medical. PSV midfielder is said to be involved in fee of around 20 million pounds to join Manchester United on a five year deal. Despite hgih wage offer from french club Paris Saint Germain, the midfielder chose to play with United as he felt the move is better for him. Depay joins United under Louis Van Gaal, who has already managed the youngster in international level while managing the Netherlands in his previous professional tenure.

After failing to sign Depay, Liverpool hve reignited interest on former Arsenal midfielder Carlos Vela. Vela has scored nine goals for Sociedad this season and is in great form after appointment of David Moyes as manager. Vela is a good utility player with capability of playing across the midfield as well as up front.
