Atletico Madrid play against Real Madrid in UEFA Champions League Quarter final tie.
In the last six matches between the sides, Real Madrid have not won any of those matches while Atletico have won in four occasions. Two matches between the sides have ended in a draw. The most recent match between the side ended 4-0 in favor of home team Atletico Madrid as Real were left to shame. Tiago, Saul Niguez, Antoinne Griezmann and Mario Mandzukic got their name in the score sheet in that game.
Atletico Madrid beat Bayer Leverkusen in penalties to get past pre-quarters stages after the matches ended on 1-1 score both at home and away. Real Madrid thrashed Schalke 04 yet again and went into the quarter final stages.
Ateltico drew their recent league match against Malaga by 2-2 while Madrid were 3-0 victorious against Eibar at home. Ateltico will face Deportivo in the league while Madrid host Malaga.
