Arsenal Transfer News: Jenkinson nearing Liverpool move

On loan Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson is on the verge of Arsenal exit and could sign for Liverpool.

West Ham might have their hopes dashed on signing Carl Jenkinson on a permanent move as Liverpool are interested in adding the English defender for next season. With rise of Hector Bellerin going smooth and Mathieu Debuchy nearing injury return, Wenger might cash in on the English defender with lots of other Premier League clubs keeping an eye on the situation.

Jenkinson joined West Ham on loan at the start of the season and has impressed Sam Allardyce. The board has already showed some interest in making the move permanent but Liverpool’s interest might make it hard for the London club to get the services of player. Liverpool are having problem in the defensive third and the deal might be made sooner as Glen Johnson has not been offered a new deal at the club despite the player’s contract ending later this year.
