Manchester City eyeing summer transfer move for Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson

Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson could be playing in Manchester next season after sparkling interest from Manchester City.

Jordan Henderson is having a great season with Liverpool and the success story has caught eyes of Premier League club Manchester City too. With Manchester City failing to emulate their form from season’s beginning, they are already looking for strengthening their squad for next season. Yaya Toure’s performance after AFCON victory has not been as same as that of 2014 and Brazilian duo Fernando and Fernandinho have not been consistent for the team this season.

Henderson signed for Liverpool in 2011 and his deal is set to expire next year.The 25 year old English International is yet to sign a new contract and there were unconfirmed news surrounding that the midfielder put a new contract offered by the club on hold and will only discuss about the deal at the end of the season. In case Henderson fails to agree a new contract, City will be favorites to land the former U-21 skipper.
