Jhapa XI defeated Nepal Police Club by 3-1 to open their first points in the league.
Dilen Loktan of Jhapa XI had one of the best days in his playing days after carrying his team to a 3-1 win against Nepal Police Club in the ongoing National League. Dilan Loktan did not seem to have a great start when he handled the ball inside the box to gift police team a penalty, which was scored by Jumanu within 20 minutes. But what was to follow was notĀ forseen by anyone in the stadium as hardworking Dilan won the match for Jhapa.
The first goal came off a corner while the second goal was scored by Dilan after chasing the ball from his own half. The lack of co-ordination played a huge part but his determination to chase the ball deserved a huge credit. In the second half, as the game neared its end, Dilen pulled off an exciting run. He dribbled past four opposition defenders to help set up third goal for the team.
