Former England skipper and Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard is aiming to end his Liverpool career on a high by winning The FA Cup title as the final silverware and a departing gift to the clubs and the fans. Gerrard was infamously sent off in last Premier League match against Manchester United after he lasted just 40 seconds after coming on as a half time substitute.

Gerrard is also popular for his slip in last season’s potential title deciding encounter against Chelsea after the midfielder slipped in halfway to let Cheslea’s Demba Ba score the goal which handed title from Liverpool’s grasp to chasing Manchester City. Now that Gerrard is suspended for three matches, he has enough time to prepare himself for the upcoming matches and will be aiming to end the career on a high.
