Diego Costa out for few weeks with tendon injury

Spanish International and Chelsea forward Diego Costa has picked up an injury and will be out of action in the international break.

Diego Costa limped off injured in Chelsea’s recent 3-2 win over Hull City and the injury could see Costa excluded from the National Squad announced by coach Vincente Del Bosque for the upcoming international break. Spain are playing Ukraine in EURO Qualifiers and follow it up with an international friendly match against the Netherlands. However, with Chelsea not playing any games for 10 days, it is expected Costa will recover sooner. Loic Remy scored the winner against Hull City and Mourinho will possibly start with him instead of risking his prized asset.

The injury meant Malaga forward Juanmi got a surprise callup into the national squad. It was  susrprise move following Alcacer’s exclusion despite scoring two goals in last two games. Alcacer was called into the squad at the start of the season but has failed to continue in same form currently.
