Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason has been named in the 23 men squad for upcoming set of fixtures.
At the start of the season, it was not sure that Ryan Mason would be included in Tottenham Hotspur’s 25-men squad for the Premier League. Six months on, the scenario has changed drastically. From an academy flop to national squad member, the step has been the one not even dreamt of. With Roy Hodgson not having much choices in the center of the midfield and Mason running his lungs out for his club and performing well, this was a no brainer for Roy.
Mason has represented England in U-19 and U-20s levels but never been picked thereafter. Mason was rather unimpressive in Spurs’ recent 3-0 defeat against Manchester United but Hodgson has watched enough of him and could hand him senior debut somewhere around the fixture list. Mason has already played 21 league matches for Tottenham this season and has scored one goal too.
