Tim Sherwood’s appointment is turning out to be a masterstroke as Aston Villa are coming back to form.

Aston Villa resurrecting under the leadership of Tim Sherwood

Tim Sherwood – Aston Villa Manager

When Aston Villa started the season unbeaten in first few games, much was expected from Paul Lambert’s side. But the West Midlands side lost their composure as the season went on and were rooted to the bottom for a while. After weeks of poor performance and result, the board finally sacked Paul Lambert and appointed former Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood as the one to lead the team.

Villa’s recent 4-0 in over Sunderland saw the opposition manager getting sacked but it was a good news for Villa fans, specially with the scorers as two strikers got two goals each in match of severe importance. Cristian Benteke looks to be back in scoring touch after scoring three goals in last two games and the squad is on a high after series of good results including the FA Cup quarterfinal win over city rivals West Brom a couple of weeks ago.
