Real Madrid teenager Martin Odegaard called up into Norway squad for Euro qualifiers

Real Madrid’s January signing Martin Odegaard has been named in Norway squad for upcoming EURO qualifiers.

Despite not playing any game for Real Madrid’s senior team, teenage sensation Martin Odegaard has been callled into the Norwegian squad for upcoming EURO Qualifier against Croatia. Norway are playing Croatia on 28th of March in Zagreb. Per-Mathias Hogmo travelled to Spain to see the teenager train and play for the Real Madrid Castilla team and was said to have talked with first team coach of Madrid, Ancelotti as well.

Hogmo said that the coaching team in Madrid is watching Odegaard closely and they want him to develop well for the future. “It will take time for him to settle in new environment with different culture, language and people. But, the facility is very good and all the supporting staffs are doing well”,said the head coach. The squad will travel to Marbella on Monday and spent the rest of the week in training to prepare for the qualifying match.
