Harry Kane named Premier League player of the month for February

Harry Kane has been awarded Premier League player of the month for the second straight month.

Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane has been named as Premier League’s player of the month for February. Kane was named premier league’s player of the month in January as well. Harry Kane joins the exclusive list of Robbie Fowler (1995/96), Dennis Bergkamp (1997) and Cristiano Ronaldo (2006) of winning consecutive awards. Kane is expected to be called up into the England squad in few days time but his involvement in U-21 Euro championship to be played later this year.

Kane scored four goals in four matches Tottenham played this month. He has one assist to his name. Kane started the month with match winning brace against city rivals Arsenal and grabbed a goal and an assist in 3-2 loss against Liverpool. Kane scored in 2-2  draw against West Ham but couldn’t score in Spurs’ 3-2 win against Swansea. Kane’s form means Tottenham are still battling for Champions League spot.
