India are playing Nepal in a FIFA World Cup 2018 first leg clash to be played in Guhawati Stadium, India.
Starting lineup of the match
The last match between the sides was played about an year ago and India won the friendly match by 2-0 at that time. However, Nepal won the match 2-1 when the sides played in SAFF Championship held in Nepal in 2013.
Nepal will not have the services of teenage sensation Bimal Gharti Magar as the striker is struggling with an ankle injury and is only a possibility for second leg clash. Santosh Shahukhala and Anil Gurung are vying for the starting spot in the absence of Bimal.
India have made a change in skipper as Sunil Chhetri is demoted to vice captain with Subrata Paul named as the captain of the team. This also means young goalkeeper Arindam Bhattacharya will not be making that all awaited debut with Paul named as skipper.
