FC Porto defender Danilo collided with goalkeeper Fabiano and was stretchered off the field.
Real Madrid and Manchester United target Danilo was taken to hospital after colliding with his goalkeeper in attempt to clear a aerial ball. The Brazilian right back, who is said to have agreed personal terms ahead of the move to Spanish Capital is reportedly moving for a fee of around 27 million pounds. Danilo took the blow in the 18th minute of the match, shortly after Brahimi put the home side one goal ahead with a sublime free kick.
However, the Porto press officer revealed that the defender was taken to hospital and was cleared of any serious injury threat. Danilo lost his consciousness and was taken off the field in a stretcher with a neck guard. He was rushed to hospital straight away in an ambulance. Porto went on to win the match by 4-0 and went through to the next round by 5-1 on aggregate.
