Nepal and India play each other in the first leg of FIFA World Cup 2018 qualifiers to be played in Guhawati, India. Both the teams have announced their final squads and are all set to play the first of two matches. GiveMeGoal brings you the probable starting XI Nepal will be fielding against India in the first leg.
Probable XI:
Kiran Chemjong
Biraj Maharjan – Rohit Chand – Sagar Thapa (c) – Sandip Rai – Rabin Shrestha
Bikram Lama – Raju Tamang
Jagjit Shrestha Bhola Silwal
Santosh Shahukhala
Nepal is likely to start with 2 wingbacks and 3 central defenders. Rohit Chand can play as a center half as well as a central defensive midfielder so the coach has the privilege of switching the formation easily and players can co-op with the change. Santosh Shahukhala is tipped to start after his impressive return of form in the recent league matches. Kiran Chemjong will keep his place between the sticks while Rajin Dhimal starts from bench with not fully fit Rabin tipped to start.
