On loan Argentine forward Ricky Alvarez is on the verge of signing for Sunderland in a permanent deal.
Sunderland Manager Gus Poyet is on the verge of signing On loan Inter Milan forward Ricky Alvarez on a permanent deal. Alvarez joined the club on loan in the summer and has found his place limited due to injuries. But the performance he has given while playing is deemed enough to convince Poyet and co to sign him on a permanent basis.
The transfer fee is said to be around seven million euros but Inter are asking for 8.5 million. Inter are expected to splash the cash in upcoming transfer window and to be safe from Financial fair play regulations, the club needs to ship out the out of favor players. Alvarez has made just four starts in the premier league this season but the club are desperate to keep the striker in their squad as the coaching staff expect much from him.
