Barcelona are aiming to go to the top of the table with a win over Rayo Vallecano.
Real Madrid were handed a 1-0 defeat by Atheltic Bilbao last night after Aritz Aduriz’s first half goal made the difference and could prove to be a huge favor for Barcelona. The catalan giants are set to play Rayo Vallecano in the league today and a win will mean they will leapfrog Real Madrid in the table. Madrid have 61 points in the league and Barca are just two points behind with today’s game remaining.
Neymar will not be available for this match after he accumulated fifth yellow card last game and Pedro is expected to replace the Brazilian International in the starting lineup. Sergio Busquets will also be unavailable for the match due to injury along with Summer signing Thomas Vermaelen who is yet to make a debut. Rayo Vallecano will also miss Ze Castro and Raul Baena due to suspension while Tono will miss the trip to Camp Nou because of suspension.
