Manchester United are playing Arsenal in The FA Cup quarterfinal tie as both the sides vie for the only realistic trophy for this season.
Louis Van Gaal and Arsene Wenger both are going through a below average season with their teams. With Premier League title a far call and both the club aiming to finish the league in top 4 places, FA Cup remains the only realistic title chance for the Premier League giants. Manchester United did not make it to Europe last term while Arsenal are on the verge of crashing out of Champions League after losing 3-1 to AS Monaco on home soil.
Former Arsenal Skipper and Dutch International Striker Robin Van Persie is the only injury concern for Manchester United as he continues to recover from the injury. Jonny Evans might get banned for spitting incident against Newcastle which means Phil Jones is likely to replace the Northern Irish defender in the starting lineup. Maroune Fellaini might get a starting berth.
Arsenal are struggling with injuries as always and they will be without Gabriel Paulista for this clash. Paulista picked up a hamstring injury in the midweek fixture so Per Mertesacker is likely to get back his starting place alongside Laurent Koscienly. Central midfielders Abou Diaby, Mikel Arteta, Jack WIlshere and Mathieu FLamini are all out injured along with French International Mathieu Debuchy.
