Jordan Henderson and Philippe Coutinho have joined the list of injured players as Liverpool travel away to Besiktas.
Vice Captain Jordan Henderson and Midfielder Philippe Coutinho have not travelled with the team away to Turkey as Brendan Rodgers keeps an eye on Premier League fixture against Manchester City this weekend. Philippe COutinho needed a breater after starting 19 matches in a row for the Merseyside Club and the Brazilian midfielder will be given time off ahead of crunch clash against holders Manchester City.
Rodgers is already without club captain Steven Gerrard with thigh injury while Glen Johnson has not played a match for long time due to illness. Brazilian midfielder Lucas Levia is also on the medical unit along with French defender Mamadou Sakho. Jon Flanagan and Jose Enrique are both out for a longer period with their respective injuries. The omission of Henderson means EMre Can is likely to operate as a CDM alongside Joe Allen.
