Manchester United’s away defeat to Swansea got worse after Robin Van Persie was seen on crutches after picking up ankle injury.
Manchester United’s tog scorer Robin Van Persie has picked up an ankle injury and could be out for few weeks. The Dutch International striker has already scored 10 goals for the side this season and have appeared in most of the United matches this season. With Wayne Rooney being deployed in the midfield and Radamel Falcao totally out of form, Van Persie was the main forward in Louis Van Gaal’s attacking plan.
The injury means Van Gaal is now left with Danny Wilson and Radamel Falcao, who share six goals between them in over 30 apppearances. Wayne Rooney has scored just one goal in 2015 as Manchester United move into the final third of the season. Manchester United are currently fourth in the table but with six clubs vying for the Champions League place, it is going to get harder with time for Dutch manager.
