Chelsea Skipper John Terry is set to sign yet another one year contract extension with his boyhood club.
Chelsea have been defensively solid this season and much to the credit of skipper John Terry who has been consistent this season. They stand at the top in the premier league and are due to play city rivals Tottenham in League Cup final on the Wembley in March 1. The 34 year old former English International signed a year contract and the deal is due to expire at the end of this season.
Terry has already played 25 league games this season and has not shown a single hint of injury or fatigue despite his age. He has been rock solid at the back and has established himself as a leader in the pitch. He has a good return figures in the attacking department as well with couple of goals and assists too. Off the pitch, he is considered as the biggest legend in Chelsea history and now that Lampard has switched to Manchester City, he is a role model for the kids in modern era too.
