Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been nominated for Premier League player of the month for January.

English youngster Harry Kane has been nominated for the Player of the Month award for January by The Premier League. He is joined by Liverpool’s Emre Can, Southampton defender Jose Fonte and Arsenal’s Spanish playmaker Santi Cazorla. Table toppers Chelsea are represented by Brazilian midfielder Oscar while Dwight Gayle is also mentioned among the nominees.

Harry Kane scored five goals in the four premier league matches played in January including a man of the match performance in 5-3 thrashing of table toppers Chelsea. Kane has been tipped to make it to the England squad for upcoming International break but England U-21 boss Gareth Southgate has said that the striker must be given time ahead of his senior team appearance as the U-21 team are preapring for Euro U-21 tournament.
