Arsenal to complete Morgan Schneiderlin transfer in the summer.

Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin will make switch to Arsenal in the summer.

Arsenal will complete the transfer of French midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin in the summer as Southampton will not agree any fee before the completion of the season. Defensive midfielder is keen for some Champions League action and reports suggest that he has already agreed personal terms with the North London outfit.

Arsene Wenger is keen on the frenchmen and made series of bids last summer. Southampton rebuffed all the attempts from Arsenal as they wanted to keep one of their assets in the team as they went rebuilding. Schneiderlin also attracted interests from Arsneal’s city rivals Tottenham Hotspur. Tottenham, now with the then Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino also has made Morgan his top transfer target but failed to convince the player.

Francis Couelin has impressed on his recent outings and this could mean Arsenal will look to bring the player on Summer with recent signings arriving in the Emirates. With two years remaining in the Saints contract, Arsenal will be looking for a 15m pounds deal for the midfielder. It is also rumored that Newcastle midfielder Chiek Tiote has attracted the interest of French manager but that will be detailed only if Saints’ disagree for the move.
