Wolfsburg have said that they have not made any bid on Andre Schurrle after the German missed Chelsea’s recent loss against Bradford.
Andre Schurrle, who has hardly started for Chelsea this season wants a move away from Stamford Bridge as German club Wolfsburg look forward to making a bid. Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has said that there will be no outgoings in this transfer window until a ‘phenomenal’ offer is placed in the table and the player agrees to leave. Chelsea are said to be in talks with Fiorentina over the transfer of Juan Cuadrado.
Schurrle joined Chelsea from German club Bayer Leverkusen on summer window of 2013. Schurrle performed well last term with handfull of starts but has not been regular in the first team this season. The forward helped Germany to win the 2014 FIFA World Cup as he went on to score a brace against Brazil in the infamous 7-1 drubbing of the hosts. Wolfsburg are said to be interested in the forward but the club have made it clear that no formal approach has been made.
WOlfsburg are currently second in the table and are trying to build title challenege against defeding champions Bayern Munich. Wolfsburg last won the league in 2009 when Edin Dzeko top scored in the league for the German outfit. German newspaper Bild has reported that Wolfsburg are preparing a 30 million Euros bid for the want-away forward and the deal might go through if Chelsea manager gives the green flag. This will also boost the chance of getting services of Juan Cuadrado for the portugese manager.
Chelsea are close to signing of Serbian youngster Danilo Pantic. The clubs have agreed a £1.25 million deal for the midfielder who has come trough youth teams of Serbia and currently plays for Partizan Belgrade. If the move comes through, the midfielder might be loaned out for the rest of the season to Vitesse Arnhem.
