Chelsea preparing transfer bid for Manchester United target Juan Cuadrado

Chelsea are preparing a bid for Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado to bolster their attacking options. Cuadrado has a release clause of £26.8 million and Chelsea are said to be very interested and will trigger the clause in coming days as per the reports. Chelsea held talks with the winger in summer but the deal could not go through after the winger signing a new contract with the club.

With Willian not performing well and Salah not upto the mark, Mourinho is determined to bring an attacking winger in the right side of his attacking midfield. Cuadrado is a good option for Mourinho considering the type of play Chelsea have adapted this season. Eden hazard has been playing well in the left wing and an addition of similar type of player in the corresponding wing will help the club in meeting their targets.

However the arrival of Colombian International will pave the way for Andre Schurrle. World Cup winning German winger has found his match time limited at Stamford Bridge. Despite getting goals and performing well, the former Leverkusen player has expressed his desire to go back to his home country. Wolfsburg are said to be interested in the player and are ready to pay the price that comes with it. Wolfsburg are preparing £23 million bid for the German International as per the reports in The Mail. Chelsea are asking at least £30 million for the player as he has contract till 2018 with the London based club.

Chelsea are closing in on signing of Serbian youngster Danilo Pantic. They have agreed a £1.25 million deal for the Partizan Belgrade midfielder who has come trough youth teams of Serbia. If the move comes through, the midfielder might be loaned out for the rest of the season to Vitesse Arnhem.
