Arsenal complete transfer of Czech youngster Martin Graiciar

Arsenal have completed signing of highly rated youngster Martin Graiciar from Victoria Plzen.

Czech youngster Martin Graiciar has made it clear that he is signing for Arsenal despite interest from top clubs around Europe. The 15 year old striker from Victoria Plzen posted in his facebbok page that he is flying to london to have a medical with Arsenal.

Arsenal were interested in teenager since long time and also took a trial for the North London outfit. Graciar appeared for the London based team and scored a hat-trick for their Under-16 team.

It was rumored that Chelsea and Real Madrid were also interested on signing the youngster but Arsneal won the race to sign the highly rated youngster. The right footed striker who stands 1.80 meters tall is the first signing Arsenal have made this season. Arsene Wenger is expected to be active in this Transfer window as he looks to strengthen his team, especially in the defensive third.

It is believed that the deal was made earlier in the year but is being completed on 2015 after Graiciar completed his schooling and is turning 16 years now. The striker took his facebook page to announce about the deal with Arsenal. He posted the following message on his page:

“Today I spent last day in school, where I had to fulfill my study requirements, before my way to England. I will fly on saturday at 14:45. I will be there for two weeks in Arsenal, where I should complete my physical(medical) examination, two matches: against Southampton and West Ham, and some days I should train with A-team.”

He also made a special mention for Arsene Wenger saying that the French Manager played a bigger role to make this decision. Wenger is said to be very keen on this player but is yet to speak about his chances in the team yet.
