West Ham United invite Everton to play The FA Cup replay after the teams played 1-1 draw at Goodison Park last week.
The previous match between the sides ended in a 1-1 draw. James Collins 56th minute goal was cancelled out by Romelu Lukaku in the 90th minute of the game to force a replay. West Ham haven’t won against Everton in last six match and this will be a tough job for Allardyce’s men.
Team News:
Everton are without their regular goalkeeper Tim Howard and hence Spanish goalkeeper Joel Robles is guarding the posts for the toffees. Darron Gibson and Leon Osman are both out injured and James McCarthy is also deemed unfit for the match. Gareth Barry had a tough game against his former side Manchester City and is expected to be rested in this game. Ross Barkley is expected to drop deeper along with Muhamed Besic to make way for want-away striker Samuel Eto’o up front.
West Ham have been boosted by the decision of Alexandre Song to retire from International Football and stay with West Ha to resurrect his domestic career. It is rumored that Song fell out with team management and announced a shock retirement and is available for the match. However, Allardyce will will not have service of Striker Diafra Sakho and midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate. Enner Valencia will partner Caroll up front in the absence of Sakho while Kevin Nolan and Mark Noble will play in center midfield with Kouyate out on duty for African Cup of Nations.
