Portugese Forward Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated his successive Ballon D’Or win along with his fellow teammates in Real Madrid’s training today.

Cristiano Ronaldo beat Argentine Lionel Messi and German International Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer to win his third Ballon d’Or award last night. The portugese winger showed off the award with his teammates along with James Rodriguez, Toni Kroos and Sergio Ramos, who also won silverwares in award ceremony held in Zurich, Switzerland.
Ronaldo scored 61 goals for club and country last year with 22 assists along with it. He also won nine individual and club honors to add up to it. Ronaldo played a key part in Madrid’s ‘La Decima’ triumph, scoring a goal in 4-1 win over city rivals Atletico Madrid by 4-1. The final was held in Ronaldo’s home town Lisbon, Portugal and it was immense that he walked away with golden boot as well.

James Rodriguez won the Puskas Award, the award which is given to the best goal of the year. Colombian Midfielder won the award for the best goal following his sensational volley in Colombia’s win over Uruguay in world cup 2014 held in Brazil.
Sergio Ramos and Toni Kroos were named in FIFA FIFPro World XI 2014. Kroos spent majority of last year with Bayern Munich whereas former Real Madrid midfielder Angel Di Maria was also included in the Team of The Year. Di Maria moved to Manchester United in summer transfer window but has been going through injury plagued season in England.
Carlo Ancelotti, Manager of Real Madrid was among the nominees for the top prize, Coach of the year but did not win the award. The man behind 10th Champions league victory of Real Madrid lost out to World Cup winner Joachim Low in closely fought contest.
