The match ended 2-1 in favor of Spain as Xavi and Alvaro Negredo scored in 61st and 78th minute of the match. Sergei Kornilenko scored the consolation for Belarus in the 89th minute.
Slovakia currently leads the Group c standing of European Qualifiers with 9 points while Spain is just behind them with 6 points in as many games. Jose Callejon is shining bright for Napoli and might be rewarded with a starting spot in this game. Nolito is also hoping for a spot, but the former Real Madrid midfielder is expected to notch this place. Cesc Fabregas withdrew from the squad with a hamstring complaint, which means in form Real Madrid midfielder Isco might start instead. David De Gea has been ruled out of the game with a dislocated Finger in right hand. He might face a lengthy term outside the game if the problem turns to be serious.
