Nepal Sports Council member secretary Yubraj Lama believes that the gold cup Football should make revision in its team selection for the betterment of Nepalese Football.

Speaking in Manakamana Cable Car Pokhara Cup press meet in the signing ceremony he claimed that teams other than A division clubs should be given chances for improvement of football and production of new talents.

“Gold Cup outside the valley should give chances to teams other than the A division clubs as the district clubs or other association teams should be given chance to produce good players”, Lama said speaking in the MOU signing ceremony.

“The underdogs teams should be giving chances because they need expousures as playing A division clubs may not contribute in producing new talents”, he added.

Meanwhile Lama also commented on current Political interference in Cricket Association of Nepal and ANFA’s situation and asked to keep Politics away from sports.
