Anu Lama – India will be our Main Target and we will win

Nepal Women’s Team Captain Anu Lama believes Nepal can win the title but the real challenge will be India in the tournament.

“We played two editions of the Championship and now I believe we can win this time. Every team is good but India will give us tough fight. India will be our main target but we will play better than India this time and win.”, she said after training session on Friday when Nepal trained for the last time at home before the tournament.

Beside Anu Lama also said despite of seven months of injury, she has started to gain back the form.

“There are lots of new players in the team, so as a captain I will have more responsibility in the team. We will have to use our experience to handle the youth that has lots of talent.”, she commented on new faces.

The third edition of Women’s SAFF Championship will played at Islamabad from November 11-20.
