Divock Origi January Return to Liverpool nothing but Rumor

French side Lille confirms Origi would not return to Liverpool FC despite rumors surrounding the £9million signing returning back to Liverpool.

“It’s just a rumor. There was no truth to my knowledge. It was agreed that Divock plays the year with us. There is no reason for him to leave mid-season.”, Lille head coach Rene Girard was quoted in Belgian newspaper RTBF.

The 19 years old signed for Liverpool based club this summer and was sent back to loan until the end of season. Origi who has already scored three times in league this season for the French side.

So despite of all the rumors surrounding him to be brought back at his Parent club, he will not return back at Anfield until the start of next season.
