Benfica is having a terrible European campaign as they have failed to win a single match this term in the champions league, The Portuguese champions have drawn once and lost twice this year. They are ranked fourth in the Group C point table while Monaco is placed second without any defeat with two draws and a win.
The only point Benfica collected was against Monaco playing 0-0 draw in France and now has a chance to grab full three points at home tonight and keep their hope of proceeding in the knock out stages of the tournament.
Host’s Eliseu and Silvio are ruled out due to injury while Nicolas Gaitan, Jardel and Ola John are doubtful for the clash will go through a fitness test ahead of the match. Lisandro Lopez will be serving a suspension and Jonas is also ineligible for the match.
The visiting side will be without striker Berbatov and Lopes as they are injured while Dirar and Kurzawa are also doubtful due to minor injury.
