Liverpool have failed to repeat performance of last season in the first ten weeks of the Premier League and Rodgers is oftenly criticized over his team selection recently, but Sterling has been one of his best productions as the lad has been impressing and currently nominated in a European golden boy award.

Recently in an interview Welshman compared Sterling to a young Ronaldo, Who just joined Man Utd in 2003. Rodgers said.” You could argue that, at 19, Raheem has had a similar impact as Ronaldo had when he came to the country; that game when he first came on as sub and made an impact.”

Rodgers added.” Certainly in these past couple of years, Raheem has made a similar impact at the beginning of his career. It’s now about going to those next levels with the second part of his curve.”

Rodgers also believes Raheem can follow Ronaldo’s path to win Ballon d’Or in future.
