Former Real Madrid and current Chelsea Manager Jose Mourinho has been named in the nomination of FIFA World Coach of the Year 2014 along with nine other managers.
Joachim Low and nine others nominated for FIFA World Coach of the Year
World Cup winner Joachim Loew heads the list of ten coaches who have been nominated for FIFA World Coach of the Year 2014. Despite ending up as Runner Up of World Cup, Argentine manager Alejanro Sabella has been nominated along with former Netherlands manager Louis Van Gaal. Van Gaal is now in charge of Manchester United.
Spaniard Pep Guadriola also joins the list along with Uruguayan Diego Simeone. Guadriola guided Bayern to record Bundesliga points while Simeone, beyond all odds won the Spanish league title with Atletico Madrid. Real Madrid’s manager Carlo Ancelotti also made the list as he guided his team to record 10th Champions League title.
USA Manager Jurgen Klinsiman and Chilean Manuel Pellegrini complete the ten-men list with current Italy manager Antonio Conte. Pellegrini and COnte both won domestic league titles with Manchester City and Juventus respectively.
