All Nepal Football Association Lalit Krishna Shrestha who has been alleged for corruption charges along with All Nepal Football Association President Ganesth Thapa, general secretary Dhirendra Pradhan and treasurer Birat Jung Shahi claims that the decisions made by Public Accounts of Parliament has been surprising one.
“I have worked in football since 20 years. We had two roomed office in ANFA then and now we have come to this state. I am surprised fir what i am being charged on.”, ANFA Vice President Lalit Krishna Shrestha said in a press conference organized in All Nepal Football Associations complex in Satdobato, Lalitpur.
“We must obey the decision made by Public Accounts but I am still trying to find out for what I am being treated like this.”, he continued.
“If charged and proved of mistakes, we are ready to face any kind of punishment to follow but if four of the mentioned people are charged and punished, it almost means all the body is punished. This is affecting players as well as the condition of the sport. Players have started to question the future in this sport and this is a very negative thing to have around us.”, he concluded.
