Atletico de Kolkota  are going to invite Mumbai City FC to play their opening match in the very first Indian Super League 2014 season.

The first ever Indian Super League will be starting today with the match between Atletico de Kolkota and Mumbai City Football Club. The first ever season of the Indian Super League will be starts from today to 20th December 2014. Altogether eight teams are taking part in this home and away round robin league competition where top four teams will qualify for the semi finals of the tournament.

Atletico de Kolkota is the home team of Kolkota, West Bengal and the home stadium is the Salt Lake Stadium. The head coach of the West Bengal team is Antonio Lopez Habas with Luis Garcia as a Marquee player. Meanwhile, Mumbai City Football Club is the home team of Mumbai, Maharasthra with DY Patil Stadium as a home ground. Peter Reid of England and Fredrik Ljungberg of Sweden are the head coach and the marquee player of the team.

Chris Penso, Eric Boria and Mark Cahen are the referees of the clash where all of them are from the USA.
