Three Star Club has signed some young talents as they prepare for the new season starting with ongoing ANFA Cup.

After the departure of Leonce Dodoz and Biraj Mahrjan to Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marshyangdi, Three Star Club have signed some young players from U-23 squad to bolster their squad. Midfielder Yogesh Gurung has left the club and played for Jhapa XI as his club beat Manang Marshyangdi in tournament opener.

Three Star also have acquired services of striker Asim Jung Karki, who played for Boys Union Club last term and Amar Dongol who was associated with Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT). Amar joins the club along with his former team-mate Krishna Kunwar.

Best Midfielder of the last season’s league, Sushil KC also has joined the Three Star Club squad as the club aims to win the first tournament of the season. Rajin Dhimal, who used to play with Sushil KC at Machhindra also has joined the Patan based club. Subash Gurung also joins the squad from Himalayan Sherpa.

There are no more new faces in the team and newly appointed coach Raju Kaji Shakya will be aiming to start his new role with a win against Armed Police Force, who have been making it a hard time for Three Star in recent years.
