Arsenal Transfer News: Wenger considering a shock move for Marco Reus

Arsenal are set to make a shocking move to sign Marco Reus from Borussia Dortmund.

Arsene Wenger has been a long term admirer of German midfielder and Arsenal could make a move to sign the Borussia Dortmund hitman. The move was given a boost after Dortmund signed back Shinji Kagawa from Manchester United for 6 million pounds. It has been rumored that Marco Reus has rejected a new contratc at the german club and has said that he will not sign for any german clubs despite the interest from Bayern Munich.

Arsenal are in desperate need of Strikers after injury to Olivier Giroud, which will keep him out of action till next year and Yaya Sanogo being the only recognized forward. Alexis Sanchez’s signing from FC Barcelona has eased in a bit but Wenger wants to add up more players in the attacking third after faltering at the later stages of last season due to goal-shy strikers.

Arsenal have already comleted signing of Callum Chambers, Mathieu Debuchy, Alexis Sanchez and David Ospina this transfer window. Colombian Goalkeeper David Ospina is still struggling with injuries and yet to make an appearance for the london club.
