The ANFA cup which is also the inaugural match of the season is scheduled to start from the 17th Bhadra previously it was scheduled on 15th of Bhadra.

League winners Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marsyangdi club will take on Jhapa in the opening match of the knock out football tournament which will kick off on Bhadra 19th.
A total of 8 teams including Jhapa and Morang districts will take part in the tournament out of which three will remain the departmental sides.
The participating teams are:
1. Three Star Club
2. Manang Marshyandgi Club
3. CMG Sankata Club
4. Nepal Army Club
5. Nepal Police Club.
6. Nepal APF Club
7. Morang Football Club
8. Jhapa Football Club
The final of the 8 day tournament will be played on 25th Bhadra in Dasarath Rangashala as all matches will be played there.
