Louis Van Gaal has hinted that thee will be lots of outgoings in some incoming in days to come as the Dutch Manager aims to challenge for the title in first season at helm.
Louis Van Gaal was appointed as Manchester United manager after David Moyes was sacked at the later stages of last season and Ryan Giggs was in charge in the interim. Van Gaal was in charge of Dutch National Team in the World Cup who were knocked out by Argentina in the semi-finals in penalty shoot-out. Van Gaal did not take nay holiday after World CUp so that he can gel in with the team he is handling from this season.
Manchester United have made some big signings already and are chasing some players as Van Gaal looks to put up his philosophy in the most successful team of this era in England. United signed Luke Shaw from Southampton in a 30 million pounds deal while they captured Ander Herrera from Atheltic Bilbao.
Club Captain and Defender Nemanja Vidic left the club on free to sign for Italian club Inter Milan while Rio Ferdinand left the club to sign for newly promoted club Queens Park Rangers. They also sold Dutch Left Back Alexander Buttner to Dynamo Moscow for 4 million pounds and Bebe signed for Benfica for 2.5 Million pounds. Another notable exit was that of Patrice Evra who signed for Italian champions Juventus in a 1.5 million pounds deal. Ryan Giggs retired from his player career and is assistant manager in the club now.
With lots of players coming in when David Moyes was in the club and most of them failing to make their mark, Louis Van Gaal is set to make some clearout in the squad. The biggest name to leave is that of Maroune Fellaini who signed from Everton just last season in 27 million pounds deal while Luis Nani also has been shown the door by Louis Van Gaal. Shinji Kagawa, who had limited chance under Moyes is under Van Gaal’s plan and will stay but Brazlian midfielder Anderson, who spent last season at Fiorentina will leave the club.
