Brazil went into the next round after topping their group by going undefeated throughout the group stage. They defeated Croatia by 3-1, played a goalless draw against Mexico and ended their group stage by a win against Cameroon by 4-1. Neymar is their leading scorer with 4 goals and will be raring to add u to the tally and put a step ahead in Golden Boot.

Chile stood second behind the Netherlands after winning two of the three matches. They won their first match of their World Cup campaign against Australia by 3-1. They defeated defending champions Spain by 2-0 and then lost to Netherlands 2-0. Chile’s goalkeeper Claudio Bravo has been in great forma and should stand up to his game if they are to pull off a shock in this World Cup.

Team News:

Hulk has been kept out for the last two group matches and will be available for this game after being fit enough for full match. Paulinho and Fred have been under a lot of criticism and Fernandinho might come into contention after impressing a lot in his previous appearance. Neymar and Oscar will lead the attacking midfield along with Hulk. Fred will fight for the starting position with Jo.

Coach Jorge Sampaoli has no any injury concern and should pick the same side that beat Spain in their group match. Arturo Vidal was rested in the previous match and should return having being fit enough for this match already. Eduardo Vargas and Alexis Sanchez will continue to lead the attack for the South American side.
