Bosnia Herzegovina and Iran play each other in Group F Match of World Cup 2014.
The teams have faced each other three times before this and Iran have won all those three matches. Iran have scored 10 goals in the process and conceded 5. The most recent match between the sides was held on 2009 where Iran became victorious by 3-2. Edin Dzeko put Bosnia in front with two goals but Iran came back stronger and score three goals in 12 minutes. Nasiud Shojaei, Arash Borhani and Andranik Teymourian scored for the Iranian with winning goal comeing in the 90th minute.
Bosnia lost both their matches in the World Cup group stage and are certain to miss out on next stage. They lost their first match to Argentina by 2-1 and then to Nigeria by 1-0.
Iran have chance to go through to next round if they beat Bosnia and hope Nigeria lose to Argentina. They played a goal-less draw against Nigeria in their first match and then lost to a last minute goal against Argentina.
Team News:
Sead Kolasinac might retrieve his starting berth after being fropped in previous match. Despite coming on in the previous match as a substitute, Sejad Salihovic will not be starting in the match. Edin Dzeko will be leading the line with Vedad Ibisevic.
Carlos Queiroz will put up his strongest lineup for this game as they need to win this game if they want to go to the next round. With no injury concern it is likely the unchanged side from the game against Argentina will feature in this game too. If the coach wants more offensive, Shojaei might come into the attack.
