Cameroon vs Brazil: Preview and Probable Starting Lineup

Cameroon and Brazil have played each other three times in recent years and Cameroon have managed one victory. Brazil have won the match two times and scored 5 goals in the process, they have conceded just a single goal. The recent meeting between the sides have ended 1-0 in favor of the African side.

Brazil were held to a 0-0 draw by spirited Mexican side in their previous match. Guillerme Ochoa’s heroics was the pick of the game as the goalkeeper saved numerous shots including one of Neymar, which is being touted as one of the finest in the World Cup stage. They won the opening match against Croatia by 3-1 after Neymar scored a double and Oscar scored in the last minute to cancel the own goal by Marcelo, which was also the first goal of the tournament.

Cameroon are already out of the tournament and will be playing for their pride. They lost their last match against Croatia by 4-0 after Mario Mandzukic scored a brace in the match which saw Alexandre Song sent off. Cameroon lost their first match against Mexico by a goal after Oribe Peralta scored for the Mexican team to give them all important victory.

Team News:

Hulk is still a doubt for Brazil and will not participate in the match. Ramires played from the start in previous match but failed to make an impact and Scolari might start with Willian instead this time.

Alexandre Song was sent off in previous match and will be unavailable for selection. Cameroon coach is likely to make some changes as they have nothing to lose.
