Germany vs Ghana : Preview, Team News and Probable Starting Lineup

This is the second meeting between the sides in World Cup. In previous World Cup, Germany beat Ghana by 1-0 in group stage match. Mesut Ozil was the hero of the match then with a goal in the hour mark.

Germany own their first match against Portugal by 4-0. Thomas Muller grabbed a hat0-trick while Mats Hummels scored a header off the corner for the German Team. Pepe of Portugal was sent off for headbutt on Thomas Muller of Germany. Mats Hummels limped off injured in the match and is expected to be rested for this match.

Ghana were defeated by USA in their first match of this World Cup. They lost the match to United States of America by 2-1. Andre Ayew scored for the equalizer team but could not muster a point against spirited USA team who won through John Brooks header just five minutes away from the final whistle.

Team News:

Mats Hummels limped off injured in match against Portugal and is expected to given rest in this match. Shkodran Mustafi, who replaced Hummels in previous match is expected to playing the centre for the German Team. Bastian Schweinsteiger has regained his fitness and is expected to start the match ahead of Sami Khedira.

Asamoah Gyan is expected to lead the attack despite Majeed Waris available for selection. Kevin Prince Boateng came off the bench in their last match but is expected to replace Jordan Ayew in starting lineup for this match.
