They defeated fellow World Cup participant Nigeria in their final warm up match by 2-0. Clint Dempsey has been in for for his team with six goals in last 10 matches for the team.
Team News
Majeed Waris hobbled off injured in their recent friendly win over South Korea and will sit out of the game as a precaution. Jordan Ayew and Christian Atsu are vying for a place in attacking midfield alongside Kevin Prince Boateng and Andre Ayew. Michael Essien might stay in bench as the squad looks set from the win against Korea.
There is a big competition in backline for the USA team with Fabian Johnson, Beasley, Chandler and Yedlin all competing for two spots in defense. The wing also looks unset for the American side with Zusi, Davis and Bedoya all hoping for a start. Klinsimann might go for Altidore up front as the forward scored a brace against Nigeria in recent friendly.
